Now that I realize what goes on on a daily basis I'm honestly already starting to dread working at Lake Compounce. The pay is horrendous (I get $8.30/hour but the head guards who basically deal with the worst possible stuff only make $8.50/hour) and there're just so many other negatives about the whole thing that I'm honestly looking for a different summer job. I know it's pretty late to jump ship but I can probably get a $14/hour job working at a nursery closer to a place I can stay and it'd be more pertinent to what I actually want to do with the rest of my life. But on top of that I have 2 huge senior projects to do which really suck bad but unfortunately it's either do the projects or get a 67 or 68 for the year in those classes because both projects count for 50% of my 4th Q grade.

Speaking of school stuff, I've definitely started senior slide. I don't really want to slide but it's really happening just with everything going on around me. Last night I was amazed that I got half of my AP Bio packet done because I was preoccupied with thinking about what I was going to do about Lake Compounce and possibly getting a different summer job. After the senior projects I'll pretty much be done and I could possibly get out of my physics final if my group does extremely well on the final project.
